Pesto Sauce

Pesto Sauce is an integral part of Italian cuisine and you can enjoy it with your favourite pasta recipes along with salads.

Time: 15 minutes


  • 2 cup basil
  • 1 pinch black pepper
  • 2 pinches salt
  • For The Main Dish
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • 1/3 cup grated parmesan cheese
  • 1/4 cup pine nuts
  • 1/2 cup olive oil pomace


  • In a food processor jar, blend together basil leaves, garlic, pine nuts and parmesan cheese into a finely ground
  • paste.
  • Slowly add around olive oil to this mix, but ensure it blends into it.
  • Once you finish blending this bit, add salt and pepper according to taste and your pesto sauce is ready!
