Oats Pakoda is a delightful and easy recipe made using oats, gram flour and rice flour.

Time: 35 minutes

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup oats
  • 1/2 cup rice flour
  • 1 handful chopped coriander leaves
  • 1 inch finely chopped,peeled ginger
  • 7 cloves garlic
  • 2 pinches salt
  • 1/2 cup gram flour (besan)
  • 2 chopped onion
  • 6 chopped green chilli
  • 1 handful curry leaves
  • 2 teaspoon butter
  • 1 cup refined oil

Method:

  • Soak the oats for 1 hour in warm/hot water. Drain excess water and transfer to a large bowl. Add gram flour,
  • rice flour, onions, coriander leaves, salt, green chillies, curry leaves, ginger, garlic and butter.
  • Mix well until a thick batter is formed. Heat oil in a frying pan over medium flame. Drop small portions of the
  • batter and fry until golden brown and crispy. Remove and drain excess oil. Serve as a snack with evening tea or
  • coffee.
