Hot Caramel Apple Cidar

Spiced with cinnamon sticks, allspice and caramel, this warm-you-up sipper will chase away winter’s chill

Time: 20 minutes


  • 1 gallon apple cider
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1 cup orange juice
  • 1 tablespoon orange zest
  • 3 cinnamon sticks
  • Whipped cream (optional)
  • Caramel ice cream topping (optional)


  • In a large pot bring first 5 ingredients to a boil.
  • Let simmer a few minutes.
  • Ladle into mugs.
  • Top with whipped cream and drizzle caramel on top if you like.
