Curried Parmesan Fish Fingers

Tender fish pieces are cut into pieces, wrapped in batter and fried to perfection. Team this with ketchup, mayo or mustard sauce and you’re sorted for the evening.

Ingredients

  • 1 fish
  • 1 lemon
  • 3 garlic cloves
  • 2 green chillies
  • 3-4 basil leaves
  • 1 tsp curry powder
  • 500 gms Parmesan cheese
  • 2 eggs
  • 250 gms maida
  • 250 gms bread crumbs
  • 250 ml oil
  • Salt

Method

  1. Cut fish into finger size & marinate it with lemon juice, salt, garlic cloves, green chillies, basil leaves & curry powder.
  2. Add grated Parmesan cheese & chopped basil leaves to a plate of bread crumbs.
  3. Dip marinated fish in maida, bread crumbs & lightly beaten eggs.
  4. Deep fry it in hot oil.
  5. Serve it hot with a lemon piece, garnished with basil leaves.
