Fish Egg Pakora


Try this easy seafood recipe as a side dish with plain steamed rice or as an evening snack with hot tea!

Time: 30 minutes


  • 250 gm fish eggs
  • 1/3 cup rice flour
  • 1 tablespoon chilli garlic paste
  • 1/3 teaspoon red chilli powder
  • 1/4 cup coriander leaves
  • 2 pinches salt
  • 1 cup gram flour (besan)
  • 1 large chopped onion
  • 1/3 teaspoon turmeric
  • 1/3 teaspoon garam masala powder
  • 2 cup refined oil
  • For The Main Dish
  • 1/3 cup rice flour
  • 1 cup gram flour (besan)


  • Mix all the ingredients into a large bowl except the cooking oil (do not add water).
  • Heat oil in a deep-bottomed pan, take small portions of prepared fish egg mixture and gently put into the hot
  • oil one by one.
  • Fry it on medium flame for a minute then flip it to fry other side.
  • Fish egg pakora is ready, have it as it is or with plain steamed rice.
