Guava Chutney is an easy-to-make side dish recipe that can be prepared in summers and can be enjoyed with plain rice or even with breads

Time: 20 minutes


  • 1 guava
  • 1/4 inch ginger
  • 1/4 tablespoon cumin seeds
  • salt as required
  • 2 green chilli
  • 3 cloves garlic
  • coriander leaves as required
  • 1 tablespoon sugar


  • Wash guava in running water and then cut it into small pieces. Next, peel the garlic cloves in a small bowl and
  • keep this bowl aside.
  • Now, transfer this chopped guava in a blender jar along with peeled garlic cloves, ginger, green chillies, cumin
  • seeds, and coriander leaves. Blend well to a thick puree like consistency and adjust salt and sugar as per your
  • taste. Serve!
