One of the simple smoothie recipes that you can make in the morning is the Banana Smoothie, which is made with skimmed milk, low fat yogurt, and banana.

Time: 20 minutes

Ingredients:

  • 1/2 cup skimmed milk
  • 150 gm low fat yoghurt
  • 1/2 tablespoon honey
  • 1 banana
  • 1/2 cup ice cubes
  • 1/2 tablespoon vanilla essence

Method:

  • Blend together skimmed milk, honey, banana and ice cubes in a blender jar until smooth.
  • Add low fat yoghurt along with vanilla essence and blend it well. Serve immediately.
